Chris Collins is a successful businessman and Washington outsider who knows what it takes to get results. Chris moved across the country throughout his childhood as his father, an engineer, was transferred by General Electric. That upbringing shaped his conservative values and instilled a deep respect for hard work, personal responsibility, and the American Dream.

Chris and his wife, Mary, have been married for nearly 40 years and have called Florida home for close to a decade. Together, they raised three children and now have five grandchildren. The same work ethic Chris learned growing up guided him as he built successful businesses and created jobs. It also drives him today: a belief that government should work for the people, not the other way around.

Chris earned a degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He began his career as an engineer, then went on to build and lead successful manufacturing companies that created jobs across America. Chris knows what it takes to meet payroll and sign the front of the check — not just cash one. He brought that executive mindset to government, running the largest county in upstate New York like a business: cutting waste, demanding accountability, and treating each tax dollar as if it were his own.

In 2016, Chris Collins was the first Member of Congress to endorse Donald Trump for President — when the mainstream media and political establishment shouted it couldn't be done. While others ran for the hills during the Access Hollywood media witch hunt, Chris never wavered. He founded and chaired the Congressional Trump Caucus, served on President Trump's transition team, and was the President's trusted liaison to Capitol Hill. Chris proved to be one of President Trump's most loyal allies in Congress, voting with him nearly 100% of the time and fighting for the America First agenda every single day. When Democrats launched their partisan witch hunts, Chris stood by President Trump. And he always will.

Chris Collins helped President Trump start the fight in 2016. Now he's running to help him finish it. Securing our borders once and for all, unleashing America's economic potential for generations of new opportunities in AI, crypto, and national defense, and keeping our families safe. Chris will also defend our constitutional freedoms from unconstitutional attacks by anti-Trump socialist Democrats.

As a battle-tested conservative with a proven record, Chris is ready to serve on Day One and deliver results for the families of Collier and Lee counties.

Improving Our Economy

  • Helped pass the historic Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, putting more money back into the pockets of American families — not the federal government.

  • Built and led successful manufacturing companies that have created hundreds of jobs across America.

Keeping America Healthy

  • Authored critical provisions of the 21st Century Cures Act — legislation that expedites FDA drug trials, streamlines approvals of drugs to treat rare diseases, and helps to recruit top researchers to the FDA.

  • Drafted and sponsored the Firefighters Cancer Registry Act, which was signed into law, directing the CDC to study cancer rates among America’s firefighters.

Supporting Our Veterans

  • Co-sponsored the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act, extending overdue benefits to veterans exposed to Agent Orange.

  • Played a key role in the VA Choice Act, giving veterans access to medical care outside the VA system and expanding access to high-quality medical care.

Upholding Fiscal Responsibility

  • As a County Executive, turned an effectively bankrupt County into one with a $250 million surplus, paying down $150 million in debt, and earning back control from a state-imposed fiscal board.
